Welcome to Silver Birch Studio. My shop features a wide selection of handmade jewellery items, mainly in sterling silver with semi-precious stones. Copper and beaded jewellery are also featured. I have plenty of items in stock ready for immediate despatch.
Rutilated quartz is an unusual type of quartz which contains rutile - a crystalline form of titanium dioxide. Its beautiful reddish-gold, needle-shaped crystals add depth and interest to the gemstone. The rutile inclusions often lie in parallel arrays, producing a unique effect. Names given to this stone include Venus's hair stone, Fleches d’amour, and Cupid’s darts.

A perfect romantic gift - this unique sterling silver pendant features a freeform cabochon of rutilated quartz containing 'Love's arrows' within it.
The silver has been polished to a high shine. The London Assay Office have applied traditional silver hallmarks to the reverse side. The pendant is 3.5cm long from the top of the bail and 1.8cm wide. Its mass is 5.5g. An 18in (45cm) silver trace chain will be supplied with it. Please ask if you would like a different chain.
This item will be packaged in a smart gift box and despatched to you by Royal Mail first class delivery.
