Welcome to Silver Birch Studio. My shop features a wide selection of handmade jewellery items, mainly in sterling silver with semi-precious stones. Copper and beaded jewellery are also featured. I have plenty of items in stock ready for immediate despatch.
Rutilated quartz is an unusual type of quartz which contains rutile - a crystalline form of titanium dioxide. Its beautiful reddish-gold, needle-shaped crystals add depth and interest to the gemstone. The rutile inclusions often lie in parallel arrays, producing a unique effect. Names given to this stone include Venus's hair stone, Fleches d’amour, and Cupid’s darts.

This unique freeform sterling pendant features a cabochon of rutilated quartz.
This pendant measures approx 1.8 x 2.2cm and weighs 3.7g. The silver has been polished to a high shine. Traditional silver hallmarks including my own maker's mark have been applied to the reverse side by the London Assay Office. There is a sterling silver fluted bail and a 16in (40cm) silver trace chain will be supplied with it.
This item will be packaged in a smart gift box and despatched to you by Royal mail first class delivery.
