Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A new design as I get bored if i can get bored without new ideas to inspire me.
This is a very shiny heart, made entirely from iridescent glass, streaky, opaque, textured, clear, pearl coloured. To give it extra shine and sparkle power I've added a big multifaceted crystal.
Though I've used only white glass plus a piece of clear, it still has colour as the iridescence casts a pink and turquoise shimmer on the glass.
I've framed it with twisted wire for added effect.
It is 10.5cm high by 9cm wide.
A silver coloured little chain is securely attached to the top of the suncatcher with a little ring to hang it.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
As this is the first I've made of this design all photos are of this piece.
