I'm a bit of a hoarder when it comes to beads, and I've been sitting on these lovely daggers for quite a while. They were expensive, and so so striking, with their fabulous peacock glaze and beautiful colours running from orange through copper to olive and even lime green. I was playing with the crystal and the new rizo beads (the rice shaped copper metallics) and created the basic bezel, and then worked a second row in behind, but it wasn't enough. Then I remembered the daggers and the piece came to life.
