Full description
The cheerful daisies nestle against the hand-felted background of this embroidered pendant.
The flowers are embroidered in a variety of cotton threads. Naturally died silk and mohair fibres are combined with merino wool, in the felt which forms the background to this pendant.
The pendant is formed over a recycled plastic bottle top. A narrow ribbon is used to form the hanging loop. A space-dyed, loosely spun yarnl, in shades to match the design is bound round the edge of the pendant. The pendant is suspended on a length of hand-made cord, made from cotton crochet threads, in colours carefully chosen to match the embroidery. The pendant fastens by knotting the cord.
The back of the pendant is neatened with felt.
