Full description
I have made a shelter or house for a frog or toad, mouse or newt, basically any small garden creature that wants some shelter over the winter or to hide and get some shade from the sun.
It is about 13" long by 6" tall by 4" deep and made from recycled pine.
I haven't treated the wood at all as I didn't want to frighten away any creatures with the smell of chemicals.
The entry hole leads into a sort of animal porch and there is an opening into the main shelter which has a solid plywood floor.
I have put mine in the garden under shrubs, it always has something living in it as there are little droppings as evidence.
I can make larger versions if you are interested, please ask if you have any preferences.
