Full description
This is one of my favourite colour combinations. The blue bird has been carefully hand stitched with space dyed cotton thread.
I have felted the two flowers and embellished them with iridescent sequins. I have used very fluffy and wispy feathers for the tail and head.
The brooch (including tail feathers) measures approximately 7cm high by 10cm wide.
