Full description
This wooden yarn bowl is made from kiln dried African Padauk wood and is full of deep, rich and vibrant colour that appears translucent when turned in the sunlight. This size bowl is suitable for any size yarn, from fine to chunky.
After turning it has been sanded beautifully smooth and multiple treatments of finishing oil have been applied and allowed to dry before the bowl is finally buffed to a high sheen with carnauba wax. The result is a super polished surface that allows the yarn to glide unhindered around the inside of the bowl.
