I really enjoy working with ink on tiles though you can never predict the end results as the ink spreads of it's own accord, I love the challenge in 'taming' the ink to create beautiful artworks

Full description
An original small work of art bluebell wood Ink on ceramic tile. This painting is approx 3.75 x 3.75 inches (9cm squared) and sold with a display stand. The tile is for display purposes only and should not be used as a coaster or hotplate.
To achieve the translucent effect on this painting I have created the flowers by dropping ink onto the tile. The tile allows the ink to 'flow' creating wonderful patterns that are difficult to achieve on regular paper. The wonderful shapes are created by moving the ink around with a cotton bud, sponge and rubber.
I generally only ever create one of each design/colour, and all my designs are my own, usually based on my interpretation of places I have visited, or things I love so you can be sure of owning a truly unique item.
All items are made and stored in a non smoking and pet free home.
