This bracelet has been etched into sterling silver. The designs have been drawn freehand and etched with ferric nitrate (this is safer than the more traditional nitric acid). The peices are 1.2 cm wide and the whole bracelet is 18cm long, and has an extender which is as much for the design as the bracelet is a good size for a average wrist. Its finished with faceted rodelle garnets whch are about 8mm by 4mm.

All silver is British standard from a bullion dealer.

All items presented wrapped in a beautiful organza bag with rose petals.

I wanted to make a peice with various magical symbols. Represented on this bracelet are spirit - the moon goddess, air - the circle, water - the inverted triangle, earth - the square and fire - the triangle. I have also included the double spiral which represents the balance of a persons inner world and outer world, and the rainbow - this has 2 meanings, blessings and abundance. Garnet is a popular talisman and protection stone.
