I do not like to see things just thown away when they can be reused to make something new and different. So when my old book started to fall to pieces I decided to recycle as much of it as possible. I cut out a few flower shape’s and thought I’d try using one to make a birthday card.

Full description
Handmade Birthday Card with a Accountants or Book keeping theme. This card would be just the birthday card for someone working accounts. The main feature of this lovely hand made card is a large paper flower which has been formed from an old out date Accountancy text book. Into the centre of the paper flower I’ve mounted a fabric deep pink flower.
The title happy birthday has been printed in deep pink onto white paper then mounted onto more paper cut from the old out of date accountancy text book. I have tinted the edge with the same deep pink colour.
The entire design is then mounted onto a hand drawn paper of blue swirls and stars. This is in turn mounted onto good quality white card stock.
The inside has been left blank for you own message.
Approximate size is A6 5.8inches (14.7cm) long by 4.1inches (10.1cm)
The card comes with a plain white envelope and is sealed into a clear cellophane bag.
