Full description
Ceramic textured heart made with white earthenware clay.
The clay is hand rolled and then I have pressed a vintage table cloth on the wet clay to create this beautiful texture before firing to 1100 degrees.
Next I have applied a pale blue / turquoise to parts of the heart to enhance the texture and finally covered with a clear glaze before the second firing.
The back of the heart is smooth and covered with the clear glaze.
An ivory ribbon is used to hang the heart.
The measurements at the widest and longest points are 11cm X 10cm
