Vintage glass pear shaped stone and rhinestone earring set in brass (1950's)
The glass stone is smoke topaz in very pretty shades of brown, caramels and golds. The stone has a lovely glittery shimmery effect. The earrings are completed with gold filled earwires.
The rhinestone is a lovely deep emerald green.
Glass stone size:- 26mm x 13 mm
Overall earring length:- 45 cm

The earrings are from Vintagebeach Deluxe collection and are finished off with goldfilled leverback earwires.
Gold filled comprises of a solid layer of gold (12k or 14k) permanently bonded to a base metal, such s brass. The minimum layer of gold must be equal to at least 1/20th the weight of the total item.
It is very hard wearing and under normal wear the gold will not peel or flake, unlike gold plate, and is commonly used as a more econimical alternative to pure gold.
