Taking a picnic to Bluebell woods in May is a must. The profusion of wildflowers is enchanting to little kids and big kids alike. I never tire of it and Grass Woods is one of my favourites in the Yorkshire Dales. I sketched and took photographs throughout the woodland in May before researching and stylising Bluebells, Hazel, Barren Strawberries, Lily-of-the-Valley and Sweet Woodruff to create a unique design. Grass Woods is just off the Dales Way, within easy reach of Grassington, in Wharfedale.

In this original lino print I have stylised Bluebell leaves, Hazel, Barren Strawberries, Lily-of-the-Valley and Sweet Woodruff to convey the profusion of wildflowers found in Grass Woods in May in the Yorkshire Dales.
Printed by hand using a traditional burnishing technique and signed by the artist.
This is a limited edition print run of 50.
Single colour print on quality hot pressed paper.
Each print is unique.
Mounted and unframed.
Size of print area 21.1cm x 21.4cm.
Size of mount 33.7cm x 35cm.
The mounted print is supplied protected by clear cellophane and packaged with bubble wrap.
