The inspiration for the cover of this book was a photo I took many year ago of the edge of a freshly ploughed field where the farmer had left a lovely border of wild poppies and cornflowers.

Full description
A handmade paper mache large Hard Back Note book or small journal created from new and upcycled paper and card. This lovely note book or journal’s cover has been hand painted in a black paint that contains red, green, and silver glitter that give is a wonderful sparkle. All around the edge of the cover I have painted a representation of a field of mixed red poppies and blue cornflowers. I have painted the inside cover with the same black and glitter paint as the outside cover.
There are three signatures within the book each one containing different pages of new and upcylced paper. I have used plain white, coloured, graph, painted, paper along with colour card and handmade textured paper. There is plenty of room for writing, for adding embellishments and keepsakes. The signatures are hand sewn to the spine of the book in yellow embroidery thread
