Knitting for me is a way of life, I always have a project on my needles, it is my escape and creative outlet that has carried me through life's trials and tribulations.

Full description
This is a great little project for an advanced beginner to fine tune some basic cable stitches. It is a pattern for a lovely textured cable handbag, I have suggested you use Rowan Felted Tweed Aran yarn to make this bag, but any aran weight yarn would work. It is a fairly straightforward design that looks fab when complete with an optional crochet flower pin to decorate when complete.
The bag design is based on my all time most favourite bag - the Gladstone, it has a lovely feel and is big enough to carry all of your daily essentials; phone, keys, wallet and lipstick!
