zombie head pincushion
bad sewing day? what could be more satisfying than sticking your pins in this grinning zombie face?
heavy weight cotton calico has been carefully tie-dyed to form their mouths, cotton & linen fabrics appliqued, and all details and teeth are drawn freehand with free machine embroidery.
due to the nature of hand dyed fabrics, freehand embroidery and zombies, each one will vary slightly.
the front is stiffened with interfacing, they’re backed with heavy weight calico, filled with polyester fibre, and finished by hand. they measure approximately 13cm (5 inches) X 14cm (5.5 inches).
everything is cut, stitched and handmade, with care, by me, ensuring each piece is unique. the fabrics are pre-washed so they’re soft and should not shrink if washed.
(dye may run so hand or machine wash separately)
my design is based on an original drawing by Little Black Heart, and is used under license.
