Gryke hopping across the limestone pavements above Crummack Dale in August and September is great fun and there are whole host wild flowers and ferns just waiting to be discovered. I sketched and took photographs out and about before researching and stylising Juniper, Hart's tongue fern, Maidenhair spleenwort and the rare Holly fern to create a unique design. Crummack Dale is off the beaten track near Austwick and is one route up onto Ingleborough, one of the three peaks in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Full description
In this original lino print I have stylised Juniper, Hart's tongue fern, Maidenhair spleenwort and the rare Holly fern to convey the flora of limestone pavements above Crummack Dale, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Printed by hand using a burnishing technique and signed by the artist.
This is a limited edition print run of 50.
Single colour print on hot pressed paper.
Each print is unique.
Mounted and unframed.
Size of printed area 21.5cm x 21.5cm.
Size of mounted print 34cm x 35.2cm.
The mounted print is supplied protected by clear cellophane and packaged with bubble wrap.
