Chopping veggies for a stir-fry, I sliced the bottom off a pak choi and it struck me how beautiful it looked - almost like a rose. So I postponed dinner, found my sketch-book and drew a picture of it - my to the dismay of a hungry husband. Many moons later I developed the sketch and made a stencil for a Mother's Day card. It's now been applied to cushion covers, bags, tea-towels and now mugs.

You wash, I'll dry!
I love drying up, especially with a lovely, colourful, cotton tea towel. And when I've finished, I can hang it up and add a splash of meadow colours to my kitchen. My Nana used to brighten up her tea tray with a pretty tea towel and now I do the same when I'm settling down to enjoy a fine Dorset cream tea (or a crumpet or two). Perfect tea time!
