As the humble bumble bee is supposed to be on the decline, I thought that I would try and help them through the cold winters. I know that it is summer now, but by the time winter comes, he can be used to the shelter.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Full description
I have made some ready made complete wooden bee shelters for helping the poor little bees in the cold winter weather.
The box is 250mm x 170mm x 160mm at the back and has a lid that is screwed on and able to lift off.
I have drilled a small hole in the front and ideally the box should be lined with hay for comfort. Bedding supplied but not shown in the photograph.
The wood has not been treated, I didn't think the wildlife would appreciate it. You can if you feel it should be though.
It should be placed somewhere shetered in the garden, ideally on top of a post.
I am also listing the bee shelter in kit form so that you can assemble it yourself perhaps with your children or grandchildren.
I will post it using recycled packaging.
I will give a generous discount if you buy more than one at a time.
