Harris Tweed is defined by law as having been "handwoven by the islanders at their homes in the Outer Hebrides, made from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides". It is the only fabric in the world to be governed by an act of Parliament!
Harris Tweed is more than a fabric though, it is a way of life, a means for islanders to support themselves in a fragile economy and a connection to generations past, present and future.

Full description
A handy coin purse in a stunningly colourful fuchsia pink check with blue, orange and green accent stripes. It has a lovely cream lining with coloured trees picking up the accent colours of the tweed. It is finished off with a Harris Tweed label to the front and a pretty cream lace zip. Perfect for everyday use or as a gift!
