I wanted to capture the essence of the beautiful coastline that surrounds Cornwall and of course, where there's sea there's always seagulls!

Full description
This is an up-cycled frame that has been painted and decoupaged with patterned paper.
The background has been painted on packaging material, which gives it an interesting texture.
The seagull has been hand finished and perches on a driftwood stump. Tiny hand painted bunting has been cut from old book paper. Thin wood has been used to make the sail boats. Tiny polished pebbles, shells, polished glass, faux seaweed and sand complete the scene.
The external measurement of the frame is, approximately 14 cm square by 2.5 cm deep.
