I’ve always loved ducks, to me they are cheeky little characters and I was inspired to make Drake having enjoyed the ducks at my local pond for years since I was a child.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
Drake is a handmade textile art bird from my own design. His body is made from Alexander Henry’s Golden Garden Tea in two different colours, with a brown patterned bib. His feathers are each individually distressed and then hand stitched onto the base wings and tail, with Liberty Art fabric for the blue “highlights” found on male Mallard ducks’ wings. His eyes are blacks beads which have been stitched on, his beak made from 100% wool felt with black embroidery floss detail and his feet & legs are made from wire wrapped with floristry tape and finished off with a yellow fabric again with a distressed look.
This wonderful bird stands approx 28cm (11") tall and 33cm (13") from beak to tail.
Drake is a complete one of a kind bird and would look great on a window ledge, mantelpiece or shelf. Drake is not a toy so please don't let him play with children.
