Hare sterling silver and gold necklace
A hare sitting in the moonlight. A yellow harvest moon lights up the field and silvery hare. I wanted to make this locket like pendant so it is like looking through the hedgerow, through the branches and the plants growing as spring turns to summer. On the right are the branches. On the right a fern uncurling its leaves. Both pieces meeting the textured silver at the bottom like a dry stone wall.

Full description
I have hand cut this from start to finish.
This is made from entirely from sterling silver. The moon is 18ct yellow gold, both the silver and gold are ethically sourced. I have cut each piece to fit one another perfectly. I have painted a patina around the hare and landscape to add depth. The silver wall texture is made on a dry stone wall -. The pattern of the wall is mirrored on the silver
I will never be able to recreate this exactly as its outer pieces are made like a puzzle. Each one an original piece in that I have no templates. Each hare is hand drawn & hand cut by me too and each one is different.
A solid piece at approximately 8 grams. Its size is approx 22.66 mm and depth 5.49mm
