Full description
A pretty needle book, sympathetically created from an embroidered border of a vintage tray cloth, combined with coordinating blanket stitch edging and matching ribbon ties. A lovely gift for a sewing friend!
The cover of this needle book has been cut from a lovely hand embroidered vintage linen traycloth. The embroidered panel has been backed with fusible interfacing and then blanket stitched to a lining of white and coffee striped canvas fabric, also backed with fusible interfacing. Matching lengths of yellow satin ribbon close the needle book with a tied bow. Two pieces of cream 'eco' felt (produced from recycled plastic bottles) are securely stitched into the center of the cover to provide 4 'pages' for your pins and needles.
