I've been working with the classic British Machin postage stamp for some time, but recently I've become fascinated by the subtler colours and intricate patterns of vintage postage stamps from around the world - tiny pieces of everyday history, preserved.
The postage stamps have all been individually collaged into place with an acid-free, xylene-free adhesive then coated with a matt sealant for extra protection. They still bear fragments of postmarks and other cancellation marks as a testament to their former active service with postal services around the world.

60 page ruled notebook with kraft cover
featuring collage of vintage world postage stamps
MADE TO ORDER - please allow 5 days from date of order for your customised notebook to be stampified! It will be made following the same approx. colour pattern as shown, but with a different mix of world postage stamps & so will vary (see pics 1-3).
Simply packaged in a plain cellophane packet your notebook will be stampified into something utterly unique. No-one else will ever own a notebook quite like this one! Use for all your first class ideas, travel notes, and more.
The front cover is entirely covered with used postage stamps, then coated with a matt sealant for extra durability. The back cover is left blank, except for a hand-stamped TangleCrafts maker's mark, which will be signed & numbered (smaller notebook shown). A small insert is included, providing a little First Class Notebook background info - great for a gift!
Customised notebook with kraft cardstock cover, secure stitched binding, and grey binding tape covering the outer spine. Inside: 30 feint ruled pages (60 sides). The notebook is made from plantation trees grown specifically for paper. This produces less CO2 and chemical usage compared to recycled paper. Approx. 17.6cm x 25cm (a tiny bit bigger than a Moleskine extra large cahier) ideal for sliding into a into a bag for notes-on-the-go or as a gift for a travelling friend.
