Full description
This unusual Spalted Beech bowl has been made from the wood of a 200 year old tree that came down in strong winds and luckily fell away from my friend’s house! The wood has been allowed to dry out naturally for a couple of years before turning.
After turning, the bowl has been sanded smooth and then given multiple applications of finishing oil, before being buffed to a soft sheen.
