I love textiles patterns, and i had been looking at Welsh blankets. I get my inspiration from many places. I oftern layout my colour cotten reels and selsect as I go but work to a rough sketch for the shape and composition of the pattern.

An unusual shaped modern cross stitch brooch.
The cross stitch design uses coloured high quality embroidery threads and is framed within an antiqued gold metal frame.
This is a one off original design.
I can make other colour variations on request.
I have built up the colour using a layer of cross stitch with contrasting colours. The colours in the picture are a true reflection as they are in real life.
Would look nice on a denim jacket!
