applique & embroidered robot zombie kitten!
robo-kitty measures about 12cm (5 inches) from the top of her head to the bottom of her toes. and she shoots lazer beams from her eyes! (okay, not really)
circuit board printed fabric is layered & appliqued onto hand dyed cotton calico, and the intricate details (including all those rivets!) are drawn freehand with free machine (free motion) embroidery.
robo-kitty has been embroidered on both the front and the back, and her eyes are hand embroidered.
all of my work is made entirely on a domestic sewing machine. everything is cut, stitched & drawn freehand by me, ensuring it is unique, well made and securely constructed.
robot cat is made from heavy weight calico, and is backed with medium weight calico. i pre-wash all my fabrics so they’re soft and shouldn’t shrink. she’s stuffed with polyester filling, and finished by hand.
