A Baby ring sling made from Lamb's wool and Goat's angora. Spun and dyed in Yorkshire. Woven at Melin Teifi in Carmarthenshire, Wales. Made in Carmarthenshire, Wales.This fabric is really soft. I love using natural fabric and the colour is a dusky mauve . The Aluminium ring is specifically designed for baby slings and is safe and strong, pull tested to 250 pounds and certified lead, nickel,heavy metal and toxin free. The sling can be used from birth to 3 years, with three different carrying positions depending on the age of your baby. With a wide band across your back to spread the weight. This sling can be worn by a person up to size 18 ladies dress size. Larger sizes and colours can be custom made. I can post out samples of the fabrics if required, or send photos.

I have carried all my 4 children in baby slings when they were babies and have tried many different types of baby carriers, this style is my favourite. Welsh Women used to carry their babies in woolen shawls, this is a modern version with the addition of an aluminium ring to make it easy to adjust and get the baby in and out. Using a sling enables you to meet your babies need to be held while having your hands free to do other things.I love these slings, you can look at your baby and have a chat, baby can hold a toy safely, you can even breast feed with baby in the sling.
