I’m back on Folksy for 2024.
I wanted to create something small and decorative in porcelain. Eggs seemed like a good place to start in spring time.

Full description
Handmade porcelain Easter egg. Hollow with applied decoration and a copper wire hanger. This one has two porcelain beads as well. This little delicate egg has been made using hand building techniques the applied decoration has been stamped to give pattern and texture. Once biscuit fired I have applied copper and manganese oxide to highlight the decoration and finally fired it to a stoneware temperature of 1240 C. The total length including wire is 9cm the egg and beads 5cm.
