Full description
This stunnng ceramic jar has been hand-thrown in stoneware clay and fired using a traditional Japanese technique known as Raku. It has been decorated using White, Turquoise and Red crackle glazes.
The jar measures about 12cm tall and 7cm across and is glazed inside with a Turquoise glaze. The pot is stamped with my own pottery seal near the base.
The crackle glazes in Raku pots means they are porous and unsuitable for food or liquids. However, it also means each pot is totally unique and perfect as a gift or beautiful keepsake for your home.
