After a couple of chilly nights in my camper I needed a hot water bottle - so created these wonderful up-cycled designs. I never go off in my van now without one!

Full description
I have designed and created this fabulous VW camper hot water bottle cover from an up-cycled merino wool jumper. The van motif is attached with bondaweb, and then machine appliqued with a close zigzag stitch. The cover is an overlapping flap design, so your hot water bottle can be easily inserted.
The covers are created from previously loved and recycled jumpers, that I have washed in a hot temperature and pre-shrunk. I have then cut and re-stitched the felted jumper, with all seams being professionally finished with a serger/overlocker, to create this useful hot water bottle cover.
I have included a brand new hot water bottle (colours may vary) which complies with standard BS1970:2006. Full instructions for use are also included.
The bottle is a 750ml capacity and the cover measures approximately w 6.5" x h 10".
These hot water bottles would be great for those chilly evenings in your camper at any time of year!
