Full description
This unusual handmade purse has been made with a beige striped cotton fabric. I have collaged the front of the purse using a selection ribbons, lace and printed script cotton. The main feature is an appliquéd vintage image which was printed on fabric. I have also stitched five shell buttons and four small red buttons to the front of the purse. I have also added a lace flower to which I have embroidered red French knots.
The purse has a red zip closure and self fabric zip pull. It has been interfaced to give it structure, and the lining is a heavy weight calico fabric.
This handmade purse is decorative and has been made to a high standard. It would be useful as a coin purse, or for popping your mobile phone in with some money. It would make a lovely gift.

The purse is 16 cm (6.25 ins) wide and 12.5 cm (5 ins) deep.
