Vintage Nottingham lace has been used to create this unique handmade purse. The base fabric is natural organic linen and I have covered this with the lace both back and front. I have embellished the front and back of the purse with some lilac beads. Also on the front of the purse I have stitched a lilac crochet flower which was made Rosalind of Mcfanwy’s Appliques.
The purse has a white zip closure and self fabric zip pull. It has been interfaced to give it structure, and the lining is a heavy weight calico fabric.
This purse is decorative and has been made to a high standard. It would be useful as a coin purse, or for popping your mobile phone in with some money. It would make a lovely gift.
Please note the money and mobile in the photograph are not included with the purchase.

The purse is 17 cm (6.75 ins) wide and 12.5 cm (5 ins) deep.
