I just love the rich colours of the dark brown and dark red yarns and thought what a warm hot water bottle cover they would make. I decided to add the stripe's as I thing for stripes.

Full description
A hand knitted Hot Water Bottle Cover. This cover has been lovingly knitted in browns and reds. The majority of the case is knitted with two yarns, a brown and red, in order to produce a ‘mottled’ effect. Just, before the neck of the cover there are a series of stripes in dark brown, light brown and red. The mottled brown and red effect is then repeated for the gathered neck of the cover. The neck opens up to receive a standard sized hot water bottle and fastens with a red hand crochet draw string.
The yarn used for this hot water bottle cover is a soft acrylic yarn so is just the thing for those who suffer allergic reactions to animal based yarns. It is also machine washable for easy care.
This hot water bottle cover will fit a standard sized hot water bottle.
The approximate size is 8inches (20.4cm) wide by 13inches (33cm) long
Caring for your case: Can be machine washed on a ‘wool Cycle’ up to 40degrees. Lay flat to dry
