I save all the little scraps of silver that I have left over from making my designs and now I have finally found a use for them!
Using a blow torch, I melt together little piles of scrap metal until they form a small solid pebble of silver, I hammer this, flattening it and adding texture until it forms a rough disc shape. I then add a stud post to them to make them into a wearable piece of recycled jewellery

Full description
These pretty studs have been completely handforged from sterling silver.
They have a dimpled, organic finish to them and are oxidised, then lightly polished to bring out this unique texture. Due the hand made nature of the design, there will be minor variations which I think just adds to the beauty and individuality of the design.
Very pretty and easy to wear, they remind me of the cratered surface of the silver moon. Comes with sterling silver butterfly backs.
Materials: Recycled sterling silver.
