Full description
This listing is for the pair of earrings seen in the photos - approx 43mm long by 10mm wide. In the photos I try to present my work clearly and simply, so what you see is actually what you get.
I made these by hand from what I believe to be the best available silver, Argentium 960. One of the things I like about working with Argentium is that pieces can be fused together directly, in the same way as pure silver or gold - that is, without using solder. There may be several stages to making even a simple pair of earrings: drawing wire to the right gauge; cutting, shaping, fusing, texturing individual pieces; constructing the whole; heat-treating, polishing and heat-treating again to maximise the hardness, shine and tarnish-resistance for which Argentium is celebrated.
Argentium 960 silver - higher purity than sterling (96% compared to 92.5%) - harder and more durable than sterling or fine silver - the brightest and whitest of all precious metals - ethically sourced, environmentally friendly. See www.argentiumsilver.com for information.
