This lovely colourful bag has been knitted in a mixture of fibres, mostly wool but also some mohair and angora. It has two handles and a detachable shoulder strap.
Lined in a polyester faux suede fabric it has an inner pocket and fully zipped opening for security. It's roomy dimensions are 50cms x 45cms. The shoulder strap measures 92cms plus a further 10cms for the attachment fittings.
To help prevent the knitted fabric from stretching I have used a support webbing within the bag and strap.
The knitted fabric has a bumpy design on both sides. The many colours in the bag are too numerous to mention but the handles and strap are a slightly different colour with less red and more green.
Washing not recommended.

I purchased a job lot of 1 and 2 ply knitting wools on cones. I had bought them to use on my knitting machine. Unfortunately the knitting machine died and so I had to get out my needles. By using several of these wools and a boucle angora and mohair yarn together I was able to knit the outer fabric of this bag. I decided to make a subtle change in colours for the handles and strap while still keeping the overall multi-coloured effect. The bubble effect on the fabric was created by marbles tied into the fabric while fulling it slightly.
I have used my favourite fabric to line as it is so soft to protect all the things you will carry.
