This little card is completely unique and super eco-friendly.
It is made from a vintage (1960s) postcard of Whitstable.
Approximately forty-five years after printing, the postcard found its way to me. I have given it a new life.
Onto the postcard I have sewn the words 'Love You'. The letters were cut from old magazines and leaflets.
It seemed only fitting to make a special envelope. I used an original 1940 Ordnance Survey map of Anglesey. It is very delicate, what with it being 74 years old, so if you intend to post it, then put it inside another envelope to protect it.
Please be aware that the card is approx 45 years old and the envelope is 74 years old, so they show signs of wear and tear. I make no attempt to erase the blemishes left by life. My cards come with a history, I consider them works of art to be treasured.
The card measures 7cms x 9cms (folded) and the envelope measures 9.4cms x 11.3cms.
