Item details

An elegant double stranded necklace that would make the perfect gift. A large, dusky pink flower made from baroque pearls sits asymmetrically on the left hand side of the two strings. A mix of ivory shell rounded nuggets, mauve/pink round aventurine beads and tiny, natural agate and rose quartz rounds, interspersed with matt white, glass, seed beads. The necklace fastens at the back with a silver-plated lobster claw clasp and has a 5cm extension chain for the perfect length. This necklace is long enough to slip straight over your head without undoing the clasp (great for anyone who finds clasps tricky), the clasp is only there so that you can adjust the length to suit different outfits.

I've been working on the idea of flowers made from pearls for some time, originally intending to use them as brooches, but when I found the aventurine beads that compliment the flower so well, I just had to put them together. The shell nugget beads are another recent find, each one is different with a gentle, natural warm, almost peachy, ivory.
