The inspiration for this cushion was a 'Design a cushion' competition I entered for a well know knitting magazine. I wanted to be able to show my ability to use colour as part of my design and I have always liked Fair Isle style knitting. The colours I choose as part of this design were inspired by a photo I took of our local wood in the full glory of its’ autumnal colours.

Full description
A small cushion hand knitted in browns, cream and red. Hand knitted in the Fair Isle Tradition. I have used 100% Soft Acrylic yarn so the cushion cover is machine washable. The cushion insert has been made with 100% cotton material and filled with hypo allergic polyester hollow fibres. The hand knitted cushion cover is an envelope style cushion and fastens with three large wooden buttons.
Approximates Size is11.9inches (30cm) by 11inches (28cm)
The filling complies with the Furniture and Furnishing (Fire Safety) Regulations 1988.
Please Note: The cover may be removed to machine wash up to 40degrees. Please lay the cushion cover flat to dry.
