I'm a bit of a magpie....I can't stop myself. When I see lots of colour or sparkle I just want to fill my pockets...and I love 20th Century vintage...I have quite a collection of vintage beads and buttons lined up proudly in jars. Jars full of treasure and nostalgia....an eclectic rainbow that always makes me smile. Take one Magpie, a cold winter afternoon and a hoard of coloured treasure.....and the result is a collection of nostalgic and pretty pieces that mix colour and texture....new finds with long loved vintage beads and buttons....every one is unique. A shape, pattern or beautiful colour....and yet so affordable you can collect as many as you like. I love knowing that each piece is a true original with its own story that won't be seen anywhere else....

Full description
These earrings have been hand crafted by me in my Highland Studio. They are made from a pair of beads from my vintage collection. These earrings are all about the colour so the design has been kept very simple to allow the beads to stand on their own. They are made from a gorgeous rich blue glass the colour of deep sea on a sunny day. A small silver bead has been added to each both for sparkle and contrast. The shape and translucency of the glass really bounces the light so these are very eye catching when worn. The earring without the ear wire measures approximately 25mm in length. They have been finished on hypoallergenic surgical steel fish hook style ear wires. The strong colour and shape make these simple earrings stand out and as they are made from upcycled vintage beads you can be sure these earrings are true originals....
