Introducing my Joysofglass Fused Glass collection. All handcut by me, decorated and then fused in my kiln.
My glass fusing kiln is only small so these fused glass pieces are all one-off designs, no mass production possible.
An 11cm square dish, twice fired in my kiln, first to fuse all the glass together, 2nd to slump it over a little mould into a shallow dish shape.
This square dish is on a base of gently collaged clear glass with thin blue lines which is topped with a layer of clear glass and bordered with beautiful rich blue iridescent glass.
Trapped between the two layers are 2 handcut bright blue hearts, 2 more heart shapes I've fashioned from blue frit and these are then surrounded by a scatter of rainbow, red and dihroic frit.
A very classy little dish. Perfect for sweets, as a soap dish, a candle holder or just to enhance your table.
Made from Bullseye glass, handcut, shaped, layered and decorated with a unique design.
The dish measures 11 cm square.
It will be sent smothered in bubble wrap in my rather innovative (takeaway) packaging which can be used as a gift box and also keeps it very safe for postage.
A lovely present for Mother's Day or at any time for someone you love.
The 4th photo shows this dish with another 2 dishes in the same 11cm bordered range.
