This sailboat has been made to order in a colour scheme of Turquoise, orange and yellow.
A stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
It is a gorgeous little boat with a hull of deep turquoise.
It has a little flag and cabin made from bright iridescent yellow glass and clear raindrop textured glass windows. One sail is in 3 shades of bright orange and the other a very streaky white glass, decorated with 3 little flower beads, as flags, in bright colours to match the boat.
This would make a wonderful present for anyone, and especially for someone who likes boats and sailing. I can guarantee they won’t have one like this as it is designed and entirely handmade by me.
It looks absolutely lovely hanging in the window where it shines and catches the light.
This item is totally individual. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure they are unique.
I can make it in different colour combinations if you prefer, want to match a décor.
