A myriad of mackerel make their way across this silver blue sea. A print from my original textile art; lush layered mixed media with detailed machine embroidery. Nice gloss print to capture the shine of the original. Print comes complete with nice wide mount, back board and protective sleeve and sent in a rigid envelope. Outside of mount measure 12x10inches (landscape orientation), a standard frame size. Just one in a series of my shimmering fish prints to collect.

Inspired by the mackerel swimming back home with us on the tide as I returned, joyful and relieved from my first ever sea kayak lesson, my aim with the original work was to capture their movement through the water and their iridescence as they broke the surface. These prints have made this available to everyone! Something about these fish has caught the imagination of everyone who has come into my studio gallery.
