Item details
Heidi La Large is an elephant with exquisite panache on the highwire, thanks to a spot of magic. The print on this cushion is a taken from my original illustration of Heidi, which sits on a background print of flying elephants.
The background print is inspired by an Art Deco pattern by Marion Dorn called Avis from 1939, which is in the V&A Collection in London. Unlike Marion's original, however, my pattern features flying elephants rather than doves. Possibly not quite as traditional but equally elegant - just like the exquisite Heidi herself.
