During one winter the original to this image was produced for an exhibition of digital prints in Bristol. The theme was "Spare Time" and colours limited to 2. The deadline was tight and I didn't have time to complete the image the way I wanted to and decided to reproduce it as a screen print in my "spare time" using more than 2 colours.
By the time it came to do the screen printed version, Summer had almost come to an end; the trees had grown and flowers were in full bloom. The artwork was changed to reflect this and hand printed in 5 colours.
