Full description
A pretty pincushion created from a panel of 'crazy patchwork' embellished with white stitching and a couched heart motif. A matching needle case is available separately.
Scraps of colour coordinated fabric, some recycled - others off-cuts from other craft projects, many of them vintage prints, have been 'felted' to a background of 'eco' felt (produced from recycled plastic bottles) using an embellisher machine. A couched heart motif, in white crochet cotton, has been worked in the centre of the patchwork panel. Cross stitches, also in white cotton thread, have been worked over the exposed edges of the patchworked scraps for extra durability. The pincushion is edged in blanket stitch in white crochet cotton. A crocheted, picot edging has then been worked into the blanket stitch.
The back of the pincushion is grey eco felt. The pincushion is gently stuffed with polyester filling.
