I love all the colours of Tourmaline and this hot pink Rubelite variety of the stone is a particularly lovely example.
A fine gemstone - it looks almost edible!
I have set the lovely oval cabochon gemstone into a pretty cast sterling silver ring mount. The shoulders of the ring have lovely floral inspired filigree work. The ring measures a UK size O 1/2 approx. according to my ring sizer.
The Tourmaline measures 7x5mm approx.
The ring has a good thickness of sterling silver to the band, so could be easily re-sized by your local jeweller. The ring is stamped 925 for sterling silver on the inside of the shank.
The gemstone is beautifully alive with fire. I hope I have captured this on my photos.
